Homework help starts at just $30 per session

At The Geekery, homework becomes an adventure. We blend academic support with skill-building, helping your child complete assignments while exploring the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of learning. We also integrate essential skills like organization and time management so your child leaves with completed homework and the confidence and tools to tackle future challenges.

Homework Hub FAQ

  • What is the Homework Hub?

Our Homework Hub provides structured homework support and tutoring—but with a twist! Instead of overwhelming students with extra work, we use their own homework as a guide for learning.

This means we’re helping them complete what they already need to do while ensuring they fully grasp the concepts. Traditional tutoring can feel like “one more thing” on their plate, but we aim to make homework stress-free and ADHD-friendly so that it works for both neurotypical and neurodivergent students.

Let us take the homework battles off your hands!

  • If my child doesn’t need tutoring, can they still attend?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. The Homework Hub is a space where kids can focus, feel supported, and get their work done—without the usual distractions at home.

And the best part? No more homework battles at the dinner table.

  • Do you guarantee that all homework will get done?

Our goal is to complete as much as possible within the session. However, there may be times when work remains unfinished. Our trained tutors prioritize efficiency and ensure that most, if not all, work gets done. If you’re concerned about time, you can book multiple sessions.

  • What subjects do you cover?

Our tutors can assist with all subjects for grades 1-12—including book reports, science projects, math reviews, and more!

  • Do you provide additional tutoring materials?

We do not create additional assignments or worksheets. However, if your child’s teacher has recommended extra practice, we’re happy to help as long as you bring the materials (e.g., workbooks, practice sheets, projects).

We also provide basic materials like pencils, paper, markers, and supplies for creative projects.

  • What if my child finishes their homework early?

If a student finishes before the session ends, they can read, color, or engage in other quiet activities until pickup. We have books, worksheets, and creative materials available to keep them engaged.

  • How many tutors are available per session?

There are always at least two tutors available at all times to assist students.

  • Besides homework help, what are the benefits of the Homework Hub?

We don’t just help with homework—we help set your child up for success. Our tutors:
Ensure assignments are complete and accurate
Teach organizational skills so homework stays in order
Build confidence so students walk into class prepared and stress-free

  • How should I prepare my child for Homework Hub?

To ensure a smooth session, please:
Have all homework materials ready in an easy-to-find folder
Label any assignments you want us to focus on
Provide additional teacher-recommended materials if needed

We can’t help with homework we can’t find, so keeping everything organized ensures we maximize the session!

  • Can students go from a class to the Homework Hub?

Absolutely! Students can take a class and then head straight to the Homework Hub—or vice versa. It’s a great way to maximize their time, stay productive, and give you a little extra “you” time. Plus, we’ll make sure they get where they need to be safely!
