Special Holiday Camps

We share in the excitement that the holiday season brings. It also brings a lot of time spent at home. Let us help entertain your kids over the long break with our two awesome holiday camps, Mini Fig Painting and Mini Terrain Creation!

MINI FIG CAMP INFO:

When: Dec. 22nd and Dec. 29th (two sessions per day)

Time: First Session – 10:00-12:00, Second Session 12:15-2:15. You can sign up for one session or both (10% discount offered if you sign up for both sessions)

What:

Painting a miniature figurine, like those used in Dungeons and Dragons, gives young adventurers the chance to bring their own tiny heroes and creatures to life.
Kids will learn the basics of painting miniature. The course includes instruction on how to work with small details, choose colors that feel right for their character, and build up layers that make a figure pop with personality.

The atmosphere is rel
axed and creative, with plenty of room for kids to explore their ideas while getting gentle guidance along the way. They’ll discover how satisfying it is to watch a blank figure slowly turn into something expressive and full of story, all through their own effort and imagination.

Each student finishes with a painted mini they can use on the game table or proudly display, along with the confidence that comes from creating something unique with their own hands. Miniature figures are included, but students may bring their own, too!

MINI TERRAIN CAMP INFO

When: Dec. 23nd and Dec. 30th (two sessions per day)

Time: First Session – 10:00-12:00, Second Session 12:15-2:15. You can sign up for one session or both (10% discount offered)

What:

In this creative workshop, kids learn how to shape the kinds of little worlds they normally only see on a game table. Using simple materials and a bit of imagination, they’ll build small pieces of landscape that feel like they belong in a story.

Students will craft places where adventures might begin, secrets might hide, or heroes might pass through on the way to something greater.

The class focuses on the fun of making things by hand: cutting, shaping, painting, and discovering how tiny details can suddenly make a piece feel alive.

Kids get room to experiment, try ideas, and follow their own sense of style while still getting guidance when they need it.

By the end, each student has a unique creation they can use in their games or display at home—something that feels personal, handmade, and full of character.
